1. Blue Cafe: Autism Parenting Workshop Part (3) Practical Tips for Everyday Behavioral Challenges
Caring for a child with autism can be stressful for parents and families. Education and training by professionals who are specialized in autism services can help you in supporting your child with ASD.Knowing how to deal with normal everyday occurrences related to sensory stimulation and the distress and consequent meltdowns is important.

Many children with autism have sensory issue, anxieties, restricted food selectivity, and toilet training challenges which can make haircuts uncomfortable or painful, eating and food consumption a daily battle, and toileting a very difficult daily challenge.

This presentation will provide practical tips in managing sensory issue and anxieties related to haircuts, and alleviate some of the pressure that parents and children with ASD go through during their toilet training journeys.
